Perhaps the most famous beach in Greece, the Shipwreck (Navagio) is located in the north of Zakynthos. Small boats from the town of Zakynthos, Alikes, Aghios Nikolaos and Skinari will take you to a small bay, as can be accessed only by sea. A paltform pitched near the village Anafonitra, offers panoramic views of the ship Panagiotis, who washed up when they sank it carrying illegal cigarettes from Turkey in 1982.

Ίσως η δημοφιλέστερη παραλία της Ελλάδας, το Ναυάγιο βρίσκεται στα βόρεια της Ζακύνθου. Καραβάκια από τη πόλη της Ζακύνθου, τις Αλυκές, τον Άγιο Νικόλαοκαι το Σκινάρι, θα σας μεταφέρουν στον μικρό κόλπο, αφού η πρόσβαση είναι δυνατή μόνο από τη θάλασσα. Μια παλτφόρμα στημένη κοντά στο χωριό Αναφονίτρα, προσφέρει πανοραμική θέα του πλοίου Παναγιώτης, που ξεβράστηκε όταν ναυάγησε μεταφέροντας παράνομα τσιγάρα από την Τουρκία το 1982.
